A message from Jennifer Box International Vice President (Pacific)
Welcome to the Pacific Fellowship of Girls Brigade International. Our Fellowship countries lie in the Pacific Ocean which is the largest ocean in the world covering almost a third of the earth’s surface, and within the blue are literally thousands of islands. Some of these Islands have Girls’ Brigade and it is from these Islands and from Australia and New Zealand, that representatives recently came to our Pacific Fellowship Conference in Auckland, NZ. It is exciting to hear of the work that is being done in the different countries, and Conference was a time of fellowship, learning and sharing together.
It was at this Conference, that I was commissioned into the role of International Vice President for the Pacific. I live in Dunedin, NZ and I am married to Les, we have three adult children and two grandchildren, and I have been involved in Girls’ Brigade for 48 years. During this time I have held several positions both locally and nationally, and have always been in a GB company in the West Harbour area of Dunedin City.
I look forward to working with the wider GB family in the Pacific supporting and encouraging the leaders in their work.
